The first Friday of the month is Philanthropic Day
for Nimble Thimbles (the quilt group I belong to).
We hold this meeting at Bolts in the Bathtub
(the best quilt store in the whole world)!
Today there were just a few of us.
Ilana put the top together of the Monsters Quilt.
It is really cute.
We just need to get it quilted and bound
before the home tour in May.
We are thinking that it will be a silent auction item.
Peggy has put together and quilted this heart quilt.
We decided there was someone
who needed to know that people care,
so we made blocks and got them together.
Sometimes when blocks are made by individuals
and then grouped together they have problems.
I am very surpirsed that this set of blocks
came together in perfect harmony.
I really think the sashing choice has alot to do with it.
I am happy it came out so nicely.
