On the Wall!

I know this isn't a great picture,
but I just had to share...
I am putting together a quilt top from Shabby Chic fabrics,
I know, your thinking...
Who are you?
and what happened to Tiffany?
Did someone takeover her blog?

Nope, still me!
I don't know what the draw is for me to this quilt,
but I am just loving it.

It is calm and peaceful.
Maybe I am craving a bit of that in my life right now,
who knows?

Anyway, wait to see what this one looks liked finished,
although it is very hard to photograph.
It was even hard to see in EQ7...
I really had to alter the colors
just for the fabrics to show up.

I may redo this pattern in batiks,
there, I am back!
Ha!

Blog at you later,
Tiffany

Michigan

We are in Michigan, all five of us!
We spent the morning sleeping,
lunch at Steak n' Shake.

We spent the afternoon at my sister's house.

The kids had a great time with their cousins.

Scott and I went for a ride
to check out the country...
we found a place found the Chocolate Garden.
So extraordinary, the chocolate truffles
have been featured repeatedly on
The Food Network as well as
Fine Living TV and the Travel Channel!

We purchased some goodies from
The Chocolate Garden,
we haven't tried them yet,
maybe in a little while.

Check out the barn next door...
The tractor is still in the barn as it is falling.
This is crazy to me.

I do love barns,
have I said that before?
We don't have them in the Antelope Valley,
so when I get to see them out in the country
I sure do enjoy it.

We also came across this Dinosaur Farm,
who knew?

Kinda crazy the things we seem to find
when we just go out driving.
This is one of my favorite things
about exploring.

Tomorrow,
Waffle House,
Harley Shop,
Quilt Store
&
Wedding!

So,
Blog at you later,
Tiffany

Michigan, Here We Come!

Heading to Eau Claire, Michigan tomorrow!

My sister, Jessica, is getting married on Saturday.

I have never been to Michigan
and this will be a quick trip.
Flying out Thursday night
and back on Monday morning.
Our kids are in college (traveling with, of course)
and they need to get back for class.

I hope to set foot in a quilt shop while I'm away,
but we shall see.

If you know of a great shop near Eau Claire,
please let me know.

Let's see if I can get a few posts in about my trip,
I love to blog about the places I go and the crazy things I see and eat!

I have been creating (designing and quilting)
 & I need to share,
but that will have to be another day...

For now, I am off to sleep,
tomorrow the adventure begins,
so...

Blog at you later,
Tiffany
