Going to Houston?

I am not going to Houston,
but a few of my quilts will be there!!

This one will be heading out this week.
You can check it out at the Exclusively Quilters booth.
I just got it back from Vickie Wall.
She did a great job quilting it.
Dawna is going to put the binding on it for me.
(I just love friends)!!

Then it is off to Houston.

Now on the the next project.

What am I doing?

I have been working on quilts to go to Houston.
I will have a number of quilts at the
Exclusively Quilters booth.
I have also been designing with their brand new fabric lines.
I will share those when I can.

For now, I am working on a sample for a class
I will be teaching at Bolts in the Bathtub.
 I called this one Poinsettia's.
I love the flowers of the Holidays.
This quilt is in the book:
Positively Crazy
By:  The Buggy Barn
The quilt in the book is called Daisies.
Here is a picture of the sample in the book.
This one is very cute too.
I still need borders on mine,
Dawna is working on them for me.
Thanks so much Dawna!!

Class will be on Tuesday, November 2nd.
You can find the schedule at:

Come join me.
We are gonna have fun and have a nice Holiday wall hanging!

Why do I make mistakes?

Do you ever have a day
when you are trying to get a project done
and all you do is make silly mistakes?
This is the quilt I am trying to make.
I need to get it done,
I have a deadline!!
Why? oh why?

Does anyone else every hit overload
and have a hard time getting things right?

Tomorrow I plan to get up early,
go to church,
and then get busy.

I have 3 quilts with deadlines,
so you should have pictures and blogs of my progress.

Blog at you tomorrow,

For now,

Baskets, Nimble Thimbles and Mail

 Bunny Hill Basket
Block of the Month
Bolts in the Bathtub
with me:
These are blocks made by students in the class.
 Aren't they the cutest.
These blocks are gonna be great fun to watch over the next year.
I am sure there will be some adorable quilts.
It isn't to late to join the fun.
You can sign up and join in any month.

Now, on to the Nimble Thimbles meeting today.
Leni shared these blocks she has made in the last week.
We loved them!!!
I think she better count them when she gets home
to make sure they all came home with her.
The pattern was in a magazine I received in the mail.
I had to look at it again after seeing Leni's blocks.

Check out what Ilana did to her daughters jeans.
There was a hole in the knee and she couldn't wear them to school.
Now they are cute and acceptable at school.
Good job!!
When I got home there were 2 packages on my doorstep.
This line is from Exclusively Quilters.
The Tuxedo Cats were expected.
The second package was unexpected.
168 fat quarters of batik from:

Whoo  Hoo!!!

I'm doing the happy dance!

Now off to In-n-Out with the Princess Lindsay!
Then to the Homecoming Football Game
where my Princess will be announced!
