Our beautiful daughter has graduated!!
I am a proud mom!
She was number 18 out of about 700 seniors
graduating from Lancaster High School this evening!
Every student with a GPA above 4.0 in a Valedictorian.

Okay, Okay

I am in big trouble and I know it.
I haven't blogged for weeks.

I have been told by a few that my blog is being checked
every morning and I am dropping the ball.
I have been designing, piecing and writing patterns.
The pattern above is from a line called Hollyhocks.
The line is from Exclusively Quilters.
I named it Dawna's Hollyhocks.
Dawna drew a quick sketch of the quilt
and I took it from there.
I designed the quilt in EQ6
(can't wait to see what EQ7 will be like).
I wrote it up and sent it off to Michelle for proofing.
Michelle is awesome!
Today at the shop, Peggy cut up kits.
We will piece it up soon and have it ready for Quilt Run 2010.

This quilt is wonderful,
I know you don't believe me,
but it looks so much better in real life.
It is being quilted by Susan Chase.
I can't wait to see it.
Quilts always come to life after the quilting has been done.
Anyway, this one is Royal Peacocks,
and again another line by Exclusively Quilters.

Now for the last quilt to share today.
This is Woodland Night.
It is made form the Winter Woodland line,
from guess who?
Exclusively of course.
I am still working on the pattern,
but this one will be ready for quilt run as well.
Quilt run sure is a crazy time for me.
I am sure am glad I love what I do.

Now , I will try to let you in on my life a little more daily.
Blog at you real soon,
Tiffany

Happy Mother's Day!

I am just spending the day
at a slow and wonderful pace.
I plan to work on some projects
that need some attention.
Here is one of them:

I have been hand appliquing these blocks since January.
They are from Bunny Hill Designs.
I just need to figure out what to do about the border.
Whoever suggested that I use the browns for the sashing,
Thanks!
I love the way it looks.
Just need the right borders now.

Well,
on to other projects.

Blog at you later,
Tiffany

Funday Friday!

Check out the adorable baby quilt that
Margaret has made for her grand-daughter, Maggie Rose.
Margaret ispires me.
She is always trying new things.
For this quilt she did reverse applique,
a technique sha had not tried before.
Here is another baby quilt by Margaret.
On this one she hand quilted using pearl cotton,
Another new technique for her.
Some other exciting news:
Our own Nancy Bluto is directing a one act play.
Here is the info,
she says it is only $5.oo per person to attend.
Well,
I brought home alot of work from the store today,
so I should have some fun update posts to share soon.

OMG, it's May!

Oh My Goodness!!!
How in the world did it get to be May?
Time is sure flying by.
Well, it appears I have not posted in a week.
I looked around the store and noticed the Alice in Wonderland fabric.
It is from Wilmington Fabrics.
It has been in the store for a bit, but I missed it, and if I missed it, you may have too.
Just thought you should know it is here and wonderful.
I have been very busy.
I have been working on a quilt for Fons & Porter.
I have the top finished, but need to get it quilted, bound and to them by mid May.
MID MAY!
Do you know how close that is to now!

Quilt run is coming too!
OMG again.
So much to do.
YIKES.
