Oh what a day! If the hat fits....

So, I have been busy at my machine most of the day...

I have a class to teach real soon and do I have a sample?
Well, almost.
I'm getting there.
This is from The Buggy Barn.

We also went on a ride to take pictures of the fire:
We do have friends in the area,
so I send a request for prayers.

1 down, 19 more to go!

I have been working on a quilt for Exclusively Quilters.
This is from the Here Chick, Chick line.
Well,
this is just another sneak peek.
1 block done!
I have finished another of the Flower Blocks I have been hand appliqueing.
I need to pick another fabric and prepare the next 2 blocks before it is time to sit down tonight.

I also stopped by the flower shop today and picked up my monthly bouquet.
These are beautiful.

I love to have fresh flowers in the house.

Monday!!

The house is quiet for a few minutes.
I am alone, just me and the pets.

This is my newest hand applique work.
I always have to have a project to work on at night.
I saw a quilt with this block and have to have one for myself.
This is my design board today.
I have finished piecing the Birdies quilt.
This is the same pattern as the Fa La La quilt
from a week or so ago.
Just did it in another color way.
I will be writing the pattern for this one real soon.
Here is a family pic.
We went on an adventure yesterday,
all 5 of us!!
Well, so much for that quiet alone time.
Since I started writing this post I have had to go rescue my girls at the gas station a couple of miles away.
The suburban shredded the serpentine belt and we had to get it towed home for Dad to fix.
Whew!
Life is always and adventure!

Birdies

This is another version of the quilt I made last week .
The line is from Moda.
It is called: Birdies.

I added in a few fabrics from other lines.
I still need to add the borders,
but I didn't want you to think that all I do any more is ride around on the back of a bike.
Although,
I have been doing that as well...

Quilting Day!

Well, I had plenty of quilting to do.
Thought I share...

These first few are for the store.
This one is Minkee on the back and very cure pumpkins on the front.
This one belongs to Terri.
I love pumpkins and Fall!
Now on the the next project in the stack.
I am going to make a quilt top from some really cute Birdie fabric.
Look forward to seeing some picks in a day or two.

Blog at you soon,

New Fabric

The UPS man showed up at the door a bit ago!

New fabric has come to visit.
This line is from  www.exclusivelyquilters.com it is called:
Here Chick, Chick

Want to see it?
Ta Da!!

This is great,
except I still have borders to do
on the Winter Pinwheels:
Gonna try to get most of the borders on today,
then I can show the entire top.

I have been hand appliqueing the posative/negative project.
Here are the blocks I have completed so far:
So much to do,
never enough time.

We are taking a ride on the Harley tonight.
We are going to BEX for Bike Night.
I will let you know how that all works out.

Till then,

Winter Pinwheels

Working on a new quilt.
This one is flannel.
It feels wonderful, too bad it is 100 degrees out.
It has beautiful butterflies that will be the border fabric.
Here is a EQ7 version of the finished quilt:
There will be a few kits at the store soon.
I have to finish the top and write the pattern.

Tonight I am busy working on it.
The Home Run Derby is on and I am alone.
Scott has gone off to order my biker helmet,
and then to a meeting at the Knights of Columbus.
Nick is taking he test for his motorcycle license,
and the girls are off at Ronald McDonald Camp!!

Quilting time for me,
Blog at you later,
Tiffany

The Tile Quilt

Another wonderful Nimble Thimble adventure.
We are really jumping outside the box these days.
This is Ilana's quilt.
She divided up a block and white picture of a flower.
Each piece was handed out randomly among 7 of us.
We were to use any colors and technique
to create our parts of the quilt.
Friday we came together to see what we had done.
It sure is exciting for the group.
Well, here it is.
There is a bit missing,
that that will be fixed soon enough.
Ilana put them up on the design board.
Nancy needed to see them pushed together,
so here they are:

The next 3 pictures are of my pieces of the quilt:
Nancy is next, stay tuned to see what the next project turns out to be....

So much to do!!!

This is what I have done last night and this morning.

Guess what?  I had to unstitch!!
Sometimes the easiest projects get me.
Well this is what is on the design wall so far.

And this is the EQ7 version of the quilt.
This one is really different for me, but kinda fun.
We will have a few kits for it at Bolts in the Bathtub
and I will have a pattern on my website as soon as
I get it written and proofed by the wonderful Michelle.

I know I have been lacking on the blog thing.
I have excuses, really!!
As if you care, you do don't you?
We were camping the beginning of June.
On a cruise ship mid June.
Then there was quilt run.
I had to get ready for,
work, and then try to recover from.

Now for the exciting news.
There is a Harley in my garage.
Scott finally has a Harley.
He is beside himself.
The garage is as clean as I have seen it in years.
Nick was helping him clean yesterday and managed
to dislocate his knee (oh what fun).

Anyway, I need to work and quilt a whole bunch more
to help make the Harley payment.
So I have plenty to share,
I just need to blog it.
That is my plan,
to blog often
and stay up to date.

Gonna work on that.
Blog at you real soon!
