Why do I make mistakes?

Do you ever have a day
when you are trying to get a project done
and all you do is make silly mistakes?
This is the quilt I am trying to make.
I need to get it done,
I have a deadline!!
Why? oh why?

Does anyone else every hit overload
and have a hard time getting things right?

Well,
Tomorrow I plan to get up early,
go to church,
and then get busy.

I have 3 quilts with deadlines,
so you should have pictures and blogs of my progress.

Blog at you tomorrow,

For now,
Goodnight.

Baskets, Nimble Thimbles and Mail

 Bunny Hill Basket
Block of the Month
at
Bolts in the Bathtub
with me:
Tiffany
These are blocks made by students in the class.
 Aren't they the cutest.
These blocks are gonna be great fun to watch over the next year.
I am sure there will be some adorable quilts.
It isn't to late to join the fun.
You can sign up and join in any month.

Now, on to the Nimble Thimbles meeting today.
Leni shared these blocks she has made in the last week.
We loved them!!!
I think she better count them when she gets home
to make sure they all came home with her.
The pattern was in a magazine I received in the mail.
I had to look at it again after seeing Leni's blocks.

Check out what Ilana did to her daughters jeans.
There was a hole in the knee and she couldn't wear them to school.
Now they are cute and acceptable at school.
Good job!!
When I got home there were 2 packages on my doorstep.
This line is from Exclusively Quilters.
The Tuxedo Cats were expected.
The second package was unexpected.
168 fat quarters of batik from:
Hoffman!!

Whoo  Hoo!!!

I'm doing the happy dance!

Now off to In-n-Out with the Princess Lindsay!
Then to the Homecoming Football Game
where my Princess will be announced!

Oh My Goodness, this is Crazy!!

So we had a customer come into the store yesterday.
She needed some help with her first quilt!
 This is her first quilt!!
Can you believe this?
She was trying to machine applique down all the flowers.
She had all the flowers made.
We helped her with thread choices.
This was just amazing.
Here is the pattern for the quilt she is making.
I am still in awe.
It must have been the day to share your first quilt.
This one was shared last night as well.
It is very nice.
Hope you enjoy these as much as I did.

Nancy's Flowers

What have we done now?
Nancy sent us out on a journey
to make flowers.
So, we made flowers.
Well most of us (mine are not done yet).
Bad Me!!
Anyway, we have stunned ourselves yet again.
We have some amazingly talented women
showing up with some wonderful flowers.
These 4 above were made by Peggy.
The one below was made by Jacque.
 Check out this close up.
Linda just kept making flowers like crazy.
I think she did 7 total. (not exactly sure)
Nancy and Karen brought theirs on Friday.
Ilana and I still have to show up with ours.
Ilana went to visit her parents.
I have just been crazy busy.
Hope to have mine to share soon.
I have a bunch of other things to share, too.
I will try to get them on the blog much more regularly.
I say it, but can I do it?
We shall see.

Melodies

So this quilt is actually out visiting quilt stores
across America with a fabric rep.
This is the new line from exclusivelyquilters.com.
It is a cute line.
I have 2 more little quilts still in the process
in the other color ways.
I sure am ready to have these finished
and move on to some other fun quilts.

We had a great weekend traveling and visiting family.
Tomorrow I have to get back at it.
So many quilts, so little time.

Quiet Monday

Remember those Chicken blocks I shared a while back.
Well, here they are all assembled and quilted.
It was wonderfully quilted with chicken feet by:
Quilting by Vickie’s Quilt Studio
661 722-9992
vickiewall@roadrunner.com
She also quilted my Bear Mountain quilt.
This one is quilted with Bears and Trees.
I love it!!!
It is not a very good picture,
but it was the best I could get this morning
from a chair in my living room.
I will be working on getting a better picture.
I still need to bind and label these 2 quilts
before I send them out to the fabric company.
I also intend to get patterns on my website and Etsy site soon.
There is always so much to do!

Here is a peek at the next project I am working on:
So far I have 32 Nine Blocks.
Stay tuned to see what they become...

Blog at you soon,
Tiffany

P.S. I don't want you to think I have been just relaxing.
It is quest today because Lindsay is at school (Senior year)
Carissa started college classes today
and Nick will be moved out by this weekend.
There is always so much to do in this crazy life,
but I bet yours is just a crazy!
