Welcome
Are you ready to get this party started?
I am!
Well, here my quilt called "Blue without You"
I feel like a pretty lucky girl (quilter)
to get invited to this Blog Hop.
When I was asked, I jumped right on in before
I even know what the fabrics looked like.
Boy was I in for a happy surprise.
To me, these fabrics look like
elements from stained glass.
I love glass work of all kinds.
So, happy me.
As soon as my fabric arrived I was ready to cut it up.
Thank goodness I remembered to take a picture
before I started with the rotary cutter.
I started cutting and stitching.
Then I put up all my pieces on the
design board (which I love).
Once the top was together I was off to pick thread colors and load the quilt onto the long arm.
I found a lovely lavender for the top thread.
Once it was a quilt I tried to get a great picture.
As you can see, I got an action shot, ha ha!
I live in a very windy city.
I decided flat on the ground just might be by best chance.
Now for the flip side...
I almost always stitch a sleeve onto my quilts.
I sneak the top of the sleeve up under the binding.
I always try to get a label onto my quilts.
This has been my downfall for years.
Lately I have gotten much better at this.
I print all the important information onto a
paper backed fabric that I can feed through a printer.
This has really been a great way for me to
document each quilt.
Just in case you would like to recreate this quilt
I have a pattern.
Well, I almost have a pattern.
Just click on the pattern cover below
to find it on my website.
Don't forget to check in on all the great designers.
I have listed them below.
You can make sure I will be Blog Hopping just like you.
