I have decided to share the many quilting sides to my personality. For this post I am going to focus on fabrics. My favorite fabrics are batiks. I use batiks when I am creating for me. I have used them in creating my Asteria block of the month, but I have a multi-faceted quilt personality. I love the Downton Abbey series as well as the fabrics that support the show. I get to design with all kinds of fun fabrics. Sometimes the fabrics talk to me, sometimes they shout with joy and occasionally they don't say much at all. I know, I'm crazy.
The other morning I was thinking, what if I merge my Asteria design with the Downton Fabrics? Well, I did just that! Now I want to share the results.
First I would like to present Lady Edith.
Next, Lady Mary.
Next, Lady Sybil.
And my favorite, Violet.
What do you think? Do you want to weigh in with your favorite?
I know these are not time appropriate quilts. I wasn't trying to create quilts for Downton, I was just having fun merging my interests to see what would come from it.
Please feel free to share you thoughts about my crazy creations. I can't wait to get some feedback.
Blog at you later,
Tiffany

These are truly beautiful Tiffany. I can't seem to decide which one I like the best! Just goes to show that a great pattern design works well in many colour ways. Good for you! Now, will you be making them up in real fabrics?
I love the Asteria pattern in these fabrics. My favorite of the four is Lady Mary, but if I made one I would probably combine some Edith fabrics with some of Sybil's for a soft look. Great job!
They are all just beautiful! Where can I find the pattern?
Kathy, this is a Block of the Month quilt called Asteria. You can find it on my website: needleinahayesstack.biz.
Hard to pick a favorite but Lady Sybil and Violet are on equal footing for me. Love them all.
