My Robotic Girl

Lindsay, my wonderful and talented 16 year old, is on the Robotics team at her high school.
She is not actually part of the building crew for the robot this year.
She is in charge of spirit and imagery
She painted the wonderful mural for the team.
This year they are working with the Wizard of Oz theme.
This mural will hang in the pits at competition.
Team 399, from Lancaster High School, will be competing in Phoenix and Denver this year.
Last year the team place 6th in the world.
Another wonderful competition year is just a few weeks away.
The team hopes to qualify for the Nationals in Atlanta.
They revealed the robot today.
Here it is:

A Pile of Quilts!

What a pile of quilts!
Let me tell you all about them.
I have been developing patterns for Exclusively Quilters.
These are 6 of the newest quilts I have made.
I sent them off to New Hampshire today.
They are going to be shared with Keepsake Quilting on Thursday.
I am hopeful that they will want to carry one or more (lots more) in their next catalog.
This is waht they look like.
Tou can also find them on my website:
These quilts kicked my butt.
Now it is time to rest and get over being sick.

Sweet Valentine's Day

Carissa is gonna be in so much trouble.
She is my dear daughter.
She is 18, and has been dating Darrin for almost 3 years.
They decided to have a picnic today and no gift exchange.
She decorated the back end of the suburban she drives.
When she meets him at the park,
she will ask him to get the blanket
from the back of the suburban and well,

She went a bit overboard.
She stitched out the cutest pillows.
She made chocolate dipped strawberries.
He is getting some coupons.
She even made homemade fortune cookies, filled with personal fortunes.
There are a few other cute things she gathered.
And the box covered with pictures of them
Oh yes, she is gonna be in big trouble, in a good kinda way!
Hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's Day!

Dresden Plates

This is a small quilt, only about 42" x 42".
The fabrics are from Exclusively Quilters.
They are part of printed yardage.
I cut them up, sashed them, and quilted all the lines
so it looks like it could have been pieced.
It came out really cute.
I did not know that this was something that interested
Carissa, my 18 year old, but she fell in love with it.
Who knew?
