Wondrous Wednesdays

Do you have a musician amoungst your clan? Have you been needing to make that special person a great quilt? Well, here is is! We have a line of fabric just for you. The line is called "Play Your Song". Michelle has pieced a top from the pattern "Hear the Music", and it is currently withthe wuilter (me) who is trying to get it quilted and back in the store for your viewing pleasure. Check in often, it may appear at any time.

Now, for some more viewing pleasure. Have you seen the Firemen hanfing around? If not, you should come in, find them, and at least give them the once over. They are up in the store, come see if you can find them.

Now for a bit of Christmas. Carolyn will br presenting a class on the Magic Stocking. This class will be on the schedule at 3 different dates and times, so that it is available for you when you are available. Check the schedule for classes. This is a great gift for a loved one, the stocking has no showing seam allowences (hence the magic), is quick to make and can be personalized. How perfect?

Wondrous Wednesdays

WOW! I can't believe it's Wednesday again. Time sure flies. Check out what I found at Bolts today. This adorable quilt was stitched out by Carolyn. She used the Head Over Heels Collection from OESD. There are many more shoes in this collection, and they are all just as cute as the 3 in the quilt.

Now check out what has made its way to the back room for check-in. There is this great line from Red Rooster called Kingyo. The panel is wonderful, the fabrics are gorgeous and the quilt is unique. All those who love Asian prints will love this one.

The next line that has entered the store is called First Course and is brought to you by South Sea Imports. The fabric line is fun and there is a free quilt to download from their site http://www.southseaimports.com/. The quilt is called Oil & Vinegar.

Dawna has been working diligently on the newsletter. I am sure it will have some fun stuff inside. Well, until next time, happy quilting!

Wondrous Wednesdays

Well, I had one of those weeks. I don't know where all the time went, but it sure did fly by. So anyway, I am back on track. This is a sample quilt that Peggy whipped up and brought into the store this morning. I think you may notice that this is from the Eva line that I showed a couple of weeks ago.
I understand that Michelle was a busy bee yesterday and moved the Fall and Halloween fabrics up to the tub. I love Halloween fabrics and decorations. I think it is all the fun colors.

Here is a new line that is out in the store. It is called Girly Girl by Art Gallery Fabrics. It is a great new collection. There is also a cute quilt to go along with.

Until next time,
Keep Quilting,
Tiffany

Funday Fridays

This is the quilt we gave our highly valued opinions on last week.
Karen got the borders on and we all think it looks great. Good Job Karen!!

Nancy shared the blocks she has been working on. She has determined that she can get about 5 done a day. That means in 12 days of work she will have the blocks completed and be ready to move on to sashings. Keep up the good work, Nancy!

Sue was able to come to the meeting today. She has been working like a crazy woman at the hospital, as well as on her Halloween Blocks. Aren't they cute?

I have been working on mine as well, just not as speedily as Sue.

These are Peggy's blocks from Moda You that is being held at Bolts in the Bathtub. Peggy, rebel that she is, has decided to make all her filler blocks different that those in the pattern.

Here is the first one she has made using her own designs. Way to go Peggy! We love the rebellious ones.

Sue also shared this adorable Sun Bonnet Sue quilt with lots of handwork. It will be a gift for someone who will appreciate it!!!

Wondrous Wednesdays Extra

So, I work a split shift at the store on Wednesdays. So that means every so often there will be an extra post for the latest arrivals on Wednesdays. Well, here is the first:

Scribble Monsters!! The fabric has been out, but here is the quilt top. Isn't it fun?
This was put together by Carolyn and Peggy. I love it!

I also love this new line called "Eva". I think I may have to bring some of this one home myself.
