I have been so busy at my computer, I think my sewing machine forgot who I am! Not good!
I have been loading a brand new website (wow, that takes time and brain power), I recently traveled to Denver to film a Craftsy class (more on that in the day to come), I have been getting ready for Road to California (I am such a lucky girl to be listed as faculty)!
I am starting to wonder if I remember how to sew. I seem to think it is like riding a bike. Let’s find out:
I am in love with the Handcrafted fabrics that Alison Glass designed. I created a quilt called Hampton (story on that in a blog for January). Hampton will be available on my new website as soon as it goes live, wish I could tell you exactly when that will be, but I don’t even know, soon, I hope. Well, here is Hampton:
I had left over fabric! I am a lucky girl! So, I decided to make another pillow (I have 3 included with the pattern). I love to hand applique, so I just started in with the petal shape. Well, I decided this set of applique petals needed to grow up into a quilt, not just a pillow. I have no idea what the quilt will look like. I usually have a complete design created in EQ7, but this time I’m gonna wing it and see what comes.I am sewing, sewing, sewing! I am happy! I have
decided that since I have 16 fabrics in the center, I can make 16 blocks to go around that center.
I hope to get these made today and have more to share soon, as well as an idea of what I might do next. This is as much as an adventure for me as it will be for you. I hope you follow along and give me some suggestions too!
Blog at you later!
Tiffany
I'm super excited about the mystery at Road. And to see what your craftsy class will be.
